Recently, Sinclair Dental was acquired by Medline Canada, Corporation, the country's fastest-growing medical supplies and equipment distributor, serving the Canadian healthcare continuum nationwide. Sinclair Dental
Modern day Sinclair Dental, as it is known today, may have been formed under the leadership and direction of Dr. Arjang Nowtash but it took Arjang a lifetime of work and dedication to accomplish this achievement.
Arjang grew up in Iran surrounded by the dental business. He began his career in his adolescence alongside his father, a denturist by trade. As Arjang grew older, he thought that he could serve the dental community best by becoming a dentist himself, but the call to work with his father was too great and he eventually joined his father in his business as a dental supplies distributor.
Fast forward to 1983, due to some changes within Iran, Arjang and his family moved to their new home of Canada. In 1987, Arjang came across an opportunity to own a dental supply business in North Vancouver. He jumped at the chance and in 1988 he became the proud new owner of Sinclair Dental. Under Arjang’s leadership, together with a passionate and supportive team, Sinclair Dental grew from a local dealer with a dozen employees to a national, full-service company with a team of 600-plus members.
Arjang was proud and honoured to call himself a Canadian. He regularly contributed to philanthropic campaigns near and dear to his heart. He was always grateful for his good fortune and focused his efforts on giving back to the local communities and improving the health of the underprivileged, both inside and outside of Canada.
In 2018, in Arjang’s 30th year of ownership, he passed away. He was proud to have his sons work alongside him. In his 72 years, Arjang lived a bright life with vigour and energy. It was always evident that Arjang loved his Sinclair family. His spirit and legacy continue to live within Sinclair Dental.
